Rainbow Hair and Hayden Panettiere!

Last week I was worshipping the sun, this week I’m chasing rainbows – check out Hayden Panettiere’s multi colored locks below – I’m starting to wonder if I’ve missed my calling in life as a weather forecaster!
I love this time of year because everyone is a little braver with color, from the clothes we wear to the color of our hair, and it’s certainly not a season for retiring violets (mmm, violet, now there’s an idea…). A friend of mine came back from the salon recently with apricot highlights, inspired by her favourite flavour of ice cream – delicious!

Flame haired songstress Florence Welch (from Florence and the Machine) told Marie Claire this week that her red hair is for life, and that although she has flirted with other shades she simply doesn’t recognise herself as a brunette.

Celebrity Hair Color of the Week – Hayden Panettiere
When I saw the photograph that Hayden Panettiere tweeted of herself this week with rainbow tresses (as reported in E! online), the Heroes star instantly become my new hair icon – outrageous, check, fabulous, check, what’s not to like!
I’ve not seen any pap shots of Hayden’s new look yet but they are bound to appear over the next few weeks, and I’m sure I won’t be the only one racing to the salon, pic in hand, to try and recreate her fabulous rainbow effect.
