Hair Colors – Starting With The Basics.
Some of you might remember a time when there was a choice of only three hair colors; black, brown or blonde. That’s right, a time when even a red hair dye was unthinkable. Forget the row after row of shades that you see on the grocery store shelves today, there were just three solitary colors, available only from the salon.
Well, what a long way we have come! Today there are a variety of different shades for every color and a variety of different finishes for every shade, we are in hair color heaven! And it’s not just the big four hair colors that reign supreme, the thought of being able to pick a bottle of blue or pink hair dye off the shelf might be enough to make your Grandma faint but we absolutely love it.
Who knows what hair colors will emerge in the future, but whatever happens we will always have our four base colors; blonde, brown, black and red. If you are thinking about changing your hair color, we always recommend starting with one of the basic colors and then working from there to find the perfect shade and finish.
